Per Mackenzie-Childs:

"No need to hide your ladles and whisks in cupboards or drawers anymore. Even the most well-worn of kitchen tools are re-energized when displayed in our Piccadilly Utensil Holder. Made of majolica and hand-painted by our master artisans with a delightful design of stripes, squiggles, and checks in carnival colors, this handy holder will inspire the most timid of chefs to wield spatulas with a little more spunk. Oven and dishwasher friendly. Each handcrafted piece bears the stamps of the artisans who created it."

"Piccadilly ceramics, when at room temperature, can be used in the microwave and oven. It is best to place a dish in a cool oven to bring it up to temperature. Placing cool dishes in a hot oven can cause the glaze to crack over time. Dishwasher safe."

"Piccadilly: The name trips prettily off the tongue and tickles the imagination. It comes from "Piccadil," a frilled collar created by a famous London dressmaker back in the 1600s. Both practical and pretty, with some reminiscent frills, our Piccadilly pieces are handcrafted of majolica right here in Aurora."
